KVMSwitchTech's this 8 port HDMI Extender Splitter, HDMI-CATSPB-8 extends any HDMI signal up to 164ft to 8 HDTV displays using UTP Cat5e/6 cabling. This Splitter Extender maintains perfect image quality and Video resolutions up to 1080p. It supports bi-directional infrared control signal together with the HDMI signal, so you can control either the source or display device. The kit includes one transmitter and Eight receivers. HDMI Splitter over Cat5e/6 offers an ideal, cost effective means for extending digital Video, multi-channel audio, and control signals from HDMI devices. This 8 port HDMI to CAT5e/6 splitter is ideal for a variety of installation environments including digital signage, classroom and medical imaging markets.

This HDMI Extender unit does have a local HDMI port to connect a local Monitor right next your HDMI source.
